A fireworks show, the first in Big Valley in over 10 years climaxed the 2 day Big Valley Days celebration in Adin. The show took place on the baseball field and the viewers saw the show from the Adin Community park.

After 2 days of activities in heat which reached the high 90's, the cooler evening was a pleasant change. The show started a little past 9:30 PM.  Surprise surprise for Bieber residents, there were no mosquitos at the park. Viewers got to watch the show while relaxing on the grass.

The show was organized by Paula Copps who was the mastermind of Big Valley Days. Not only did she plan it, but went door to door begging for money to pay for the show. Money well spent!

Paula Copps of Adin, seen here after a hectic 2 days looks forward to a good nights sleep. Good job Paula! Big Valley Days was a success this year, and a real challange to Bieber for next year's celebration since last years organizer, Bitsy McAlexander will not be in the area to do it again.
