The main fundraiser for the Lookout Volunteer Fire Dept. is the annual Buckhunters Dinnerat the Fire Hall. It is organized by the Lookout Fire Auxiliary. This annual event has been taking place for at least 20 years and from the amount of folks showing up for a small community, it certainly has a lot of support. Perhaps it's because the food is so good.

This year, a turkey and ham dinner was served along with way too much tasty pies, cakes and deserts brought in by many locals.

This event usually draws about 150 to 200 people and this year more than 200 attended the $8.00 per plate event. Lookut is a small community always struggling to make ends meet, and this annual dinner along with the many raffle tickets sold go a long way to supporting these volunteers. Don't miss next years dinner, the food is really good and the atmosphere friendly.
