Many Big Valley residents have been aware that the market on Bridge Street in Bieber has been up for sale for some time. The store is now under new management.
The new owners are 2 brothers from India, Harminder Mann and Harginder Mann. They live in Yuba City where they own a store and a walnut orchard.
I spoke to the gentlemen during a visit their new store and spent some time answering questions about Big Valley and the surrounding area. Both were very interested in learning about this community. They explained that they will continue to operate Big Valley Market much the same as it has been but also plan to slowly add services. They expressed the desire to be of service to the community and will change things as they learn what is wanted.
