(The tractor is not for sale, it's just a nice picture for
this page!)
If you have an item you
want to sell at the auction
This is how you do it:
What we would like from you:
- A good description of the item. Model number or name, year
of manufacture, etc.
- A description of the condition of the item.
- A photograph of the item. (We can arrange for taking
pictures if you can't)
- A digital photograph which can be emailed to us is
preferred.
- If you have a digital camera and don't know how to
email a picture, Call us and talk to a person.
- If you have a "paper" snapshot, this will do, but you
have to bring it to BVFRC to have it scanned and digitized.
(Photo's will be returned)
- If you have NO PICTURE and want to sell at the auction, we
will accept (and post on the internet) a good description.
- Your name, and contact address and phone number.
- Location of the item.
- Statement about how to preview the item if possible, i.e
where, who to call etc.
- Items must be at the auction site by Friday April 28, 2006.
What we will do for you:
- As each item description is received, it will be added to
our "Auction Preview Page" on a first come first serve basis.
The earlier you submit your entry, the better viewing you
get your item shown in the preview page.
- Each entry will get a listing on the preview page in a
standard format, i.e. same size picture, same amount of space for
description, same colors etc.
- If you have your own business or personnel web page, it can be
shown on your auction listing for no charge. If you want to have a
custom web page designed that you can show off to friends and family
around the world, tell us. This can be almost anything your
heart desires from a detailed descrription of the item, to an
advertising page for your farm or service, or just a picture of you and
your family letting everyone know that you support BVFRC. Remember, the
address of this page can be emailed to all your friends and relatives
around the world to see on the World Wide Web.
- We can arrange for transportation of the items if you can't bring them down yourself.
How to submit items:
- Best and easiest way is to email to FarmAuction@BigValleyNews.net
and "attach" the necessary photographs. Please make
it easy for us by following the "form" suggested in "What we would like
from you" above. If you have problems either in how to download your
camera or how to attach a photo to your email, call us, we'll help.
- If you don't have a digital camera, or don't have a
computer with internet connection, call Brian Dahle 530
299-3223 and we will help.
What kind of items do we want:
- Anything which has real value from tractors and heavy equipment
to the kitchen sink but no junk!. If you have a "lot" of items such as
a pile of useful tools, electrical wire or plumbing parts, put it in a
pile, describe it and sell it as a "lot". Antiques, wood stoves,
furniture etc. but it must have value, we can't sell junk.
Where will the auction be held?:
- At the Big Valley Power Co. site at 8AM, Saturday April 29, 2006. Preview on Friday April 28.
- The site is at the corner of Lookout Rd. and Highway 299 in Bieber, right near the Red Barn.
