For many years Willie Shepherd has been collecting old machinery. For 8 years now he has been showing and demonstrating their operation for anyone interested. This is not just showing the old machinery, it is actually operating them. A couple of years ago Willie had a steam powered sawmill on which he actually sawed a log. You may have seen Willie in his annual appearance in Big Valley Days. If you have not been to this show and open house yet, don't miss it! It's a real fun time.

This year the show is promised to feature a Steam Tractor Show and a Saw Mill Show. You can also come to sell or trade parts or show off your own iron.

How to get there:

Go to Lookout.....

Go through town on Main Street, then at the end of town turn right......

Follow the road past the dump and a few miles later you come to a "Y" ......

Take the left road, the paved one. If you get on the unpaved road, YOU ARE ON THE WRONG ROAD!......

Follow the road to just past Cedar Dr. in the Ranchettes and don't cross the railroad tracks.....

Follow the unpaved road about a quarter mile and you will see Willies place.
