Lookout gets new Postmaster

Katie Davies, a resident of Bieber, is now acting postmaster at the lookout post office.  She will officially become Lookout's postmaster effective January 7, 2006.

Acting postmaster means that she is doing all the work of the postmaster, but isn't getting paid for it yet! Katie replaces the old postmaster, Chris Larson who will officially retire January 2006 but is now on leave.  That means she

is still getting paid as postmaster, but is no longer doing the work. Chris it taking her earned vacation.

Katie started working for the post office 5 years ago and worked for 2 years on Saturdays in Nubieber and also worked Saturdays in Bieber.  She became Officer In Charge at Nubieber for 3 years. All her training has been on the job and she has finally made postmaster for Lookout.
