on Third St. in Bieber at approx. 1:00 AM Saturday
- CDF, Bieber Fire and Adin Ambulance responded for medical aid for a woman injured in a fight

Automobile Rollover Accident on 139, South of Adin:
August 7, 2005
- Adin Ambulance and Adin first Responders called to scene of an automobile rollover 6:00 PM Sunday.
- 3 people trapped in a convertible auto in a creek.
- 2 Helicopters dispatched for medical aid to the scene near Willow Creek Rd.
- Victims taken to local hospitals, no fatalities.
Traffic fatality on Highway 299 near 4 corners:
August 10, 2005
- CHP reported a double traffic fatality on Hiway 299, 1/4 mile East of Hiway 89 when a car hit a tree.
- 2 people were killed, but their names have not yet been released.
- Alcohol was not involved in this incident.
- Accident happened after vehicle passed another vehicle and went out of control.

- Seniors participating at the Friday nutritional program lunch were greeted by staff from Lassen Senior Services Inc. and advised of major management changes and terminations of Big Valley employees.

- Due to the recent power outage which caused loss of water pressure for the Bieber area, residents are advised to boil their tap water or use bottled water for cooking or drinking purposes.
- PLEASE NOTIFY YOUR NEIGHBORS WHO DON'T HAVE INTERNET OR WHO HAVE NOT YET HEARD THIS ADVISORY!
- All tap water used for drinking or cooking should be boiled for at least one minute. This is the preferred method to assure the water is safe. An alternative is to use bottled water.
- The low water pressure may have allowed contaminents to enter the water supply.
- Water quality testing will be performed soon.You will be advisedwhen the water is safe to drink.

- PG and E says due to downed power pole.

- After warm nights a cold front suddenly passes, bringing snow in the afternoon.
- Bieber gets about 6 inches of WET STICKY snow before midnight, lot's more by morning.
- Trees and power lines down throughout the area.
- PG and E reports 3800 customers out in area from Burney to here due to 60 K.V. line being down.
- Surprise Valley Electric reports problem at substation in Canby and numerous local faults due to trees falling etc. Estimate long downtime.
